We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Specialist Registration to facilitate patient flow from point of entry to destination in a timely, accurate, and professional manner. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain specific information to generate an accurate financial and demographic record for patients.
- Schedule appointments and interview patients for appropriate medical information.
- Explain charges and policies of the department/hospital and validate and enter charges into appropriate systems.
- Collect necessary payment and answer incoming calls, directing patients and visitors appropriately.
Requirements:
We require a High School Diploma/GED and prefer relevant experience in a healthcare setting. Ability to learn and retain medical coding, ICD-10, and CPT coding is preferred. The ideal candidate will also possess knowledge of clinical practices and medical terminology.
