Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Ice Rink Custodian to join our team at the Mullins Center. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our ice rink facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate various cleaning equipment, including buffers, sweepers, and vacuums, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Climb stairs and lift up to 40 pounds to perform custodial duties.
  • Maintain clean and well-stocked restrooms, including restocking supplies and cleaning surfaces.
  • Safely use cleaning chemicals and communicate proper cleaning procedures to colleagues.
  • Responsible for keeping all areas of the facility clean and safe, including during events.
  • Perform custodial duties after events, including cleaning up trash and spills.
  • Keep outside areas and front entrance clean and free of trash.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; related trade school training or experience a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work days, overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand English.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and meet deadlines.

As a part-time employee, you will be eligible for benefits, including a 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. You will also receive one hour of accrued paid leave per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year.
