Position Summary
The Service Shop Supervisor is essential in managing the daily functions of the Service Shop and Rental department. This role includes overseeing the Service Shop & Rental Associates, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining high customer satisfaction levels. The Service Shop Supervisor works closely with the Retail Manager and collaborates with technicians, mechanics, and rental associates to uphold service excellence standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Leadership: Guide and support Service Shop & Rental Associates, promoting a positive and collaborative workplace.
- Operational Oversight: Manage daily operations of the service shop, ensuring timely completion of services and rental preparations.
- Customer Engagement: Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Equipment Oversight: Ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of rental equipment, adhering to high standards.
- Collaboration: Work with technicians and mechanics to coordinate services efficiently.
- Training: Provide training for new Service Shop & Rental Associates, equipping them for their roles.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels for rental equipment and service supplies.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure service accuracy and completeness.
- Performance Management: Conduct evaluations for Service Shop & Rental Associates and offer constructive feedback.
- Reporting: Prepare reports on service shop and rental activities, updating the Retail Manager regularly.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certifications in retail management is advantageous.
- Proficient in standard office and communication tools.
- Skills in leadership, adaptability, attention to detail, communication, critical thinking, customer service, inventory management, multitasking, problem-solving, product knowledge, teamwork, and time management.
- Previous supervisory experience in a service shop or rental environment is preferred.

The base wage for this role ranges from $20.42 to $30.63/hr, depending on skills and experience, with consideration for internal pay equity. While the full range is listed, we typically do not hire at the top of the range, allowing for professional and financial growth.
