Job Summary:

Troubleshoots, maintains, and operates air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration systems to ensure a quality controlled environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair, adjust, and maintain air conditioning and heating equipment to ensure optimum performance.
  • Analyze air conditioning mechanical problems, pneumatic controls, and electrical systems associated with air conditioning controls, make necessary repairs, and return to service with minimum downtime.
  • Provide proper documentation on preventive maintenance systems.
  • Assist other maintenance personnel in performing repairs and preventive maintenance on support equipment.
  • Properly document repairs, adjustments, and parts on work order requests.

Requirements:

  • Minimum five (5) years in A/C with experience in all sizes and types of A/C systems.
  • HVAC certification is required when in lieu of High School Diploma/GED.
  • Knowledge of systems applicable to Medical Center facility.

  • Weight Carried: Up to 50 lbs, Frequently 31-65% of time.
  • Vision: Moderate, Constantly 66-100% of time.
  • Kneeling/Stooping/Bending: Frequently 31-65%.
  • Standing/Walking: Occasionally 0-30%.
  • Pushing/Pulling: Frequently 31-65%.
  • Intensity of Work: Frequently 31-65%.
