Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Reco NC LLC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions and maintain effective equipment operation
  • Utilize preventive maintenance systems to reduce equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance
  • Cross-train technicians to ensure clear communication between maintenance shifts and production departments
  • Dismantle and repair machinery, equipment, and devices to access and remove defective parts
  • Maintain and repair specialized equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems on all machinery and equipment
  • Gather information to order parts, supplies, or equipment as needed
  • Plan and lay out repair work using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, or schematics

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree preferred
  • Industry-specific training in a related field (electronics, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC, robotics, etc.)
  • At least five years' experience in a manufacturing engineering or maintenance role in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to demonstrate trouble-shooting skills and read/comprehend drawing and other written instructions

Working Environment:

The selected candidate will work in a moderately to highly noisy environment with occasional exposure to electrical shock and moving mechanical parts. The temperature is comfortable, but areas of heat may be encountered. Occasional travel for 1–2-week periods internationally may be required.
