  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to purchasing activities.

Requirements
  • Minimum of two years of applicable experience in procurement or a related field.
  • High school education or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience combined.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to interpret financial and statistical data and make sound recommendations.
  • Ability to anticipate customer requirements and meet those needs in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to prioritize organizational requirements and track progress of multiple initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience in negotiation or a computerized inventory control environment.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Knowledge of hospital financial systems.
  • Experience with typical office equipment.
  • Knowledge of manufacturer/vendor product catalogs.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
