Job Summary:The Site Supervisor I will provide day-to-day administration of a small capacity child development site, ensuring compliance with State licensing, Federal requirements, and contract requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in child development, early childhood education, and program management.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure daily staffing requirements and child/staff ratios are met
- Provide guidance and supervision to teaching and support staff
- Review instructional programs to ensure compliance with State and Federal requirements
- Maintain accurate and timely reports and correspondence
- Develop and implement effective community relations and advocacy strategies
- Possession of a valid California Vehicle Operator License
- Two (2) years of full-time experience as a Teacher in a publicly funded preschool or child development program
- Possession of a Child Development Site Supervisor Permit issued by the State of California
