About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our team at Primark. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of Sales Associates to provide an exceptional store environment and customer experience, while optimizing sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Sales Associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Manage daily tasks and prioritize workload to ensure efficient store operations.
  • Collaborate with the store management team to support the running of the store and develop a high-performing retail team.
  • Manage cash lanes and Fitting Room areas, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support customer feedback and complaints, providing a positive experience for all customers.
  • Manage stock file accuracy and drive improved availability in-store, ensuring size and option control to meet customer demand.
  • Monitor pricing for accuracy, apply markdowns, and display POS as required.
Requirements
  • Excellent people skills to serve customers, lead the team, and build credible working relationships with all store colleagues.
  • Strong service focus with experience of delivering excellent customer experience while maintaining high store standards.
  • Good commercial awareness and understanding of local selling patterns.
  • Ability to guide and support a team to achieve results.
  • Nimble and adaptable, with the ability to flex plans and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good planning and organizational skills, prioritizing and working within agreed timescales.
  • Experience supporting store management with the protection of people, property, and premises.
  • Ability to effectively manage difficult situations and have good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to provide instruction, coaching, and corrective action to team members.
