The Housekeeper at Benedictine is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff. This role is critical to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete resident discharges and prepare rooms for next admissions, adhering to our policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all areas are properly stocked with essential supplies, such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
  • Operate and maintain housekeeping equipment, including vacuums, housekeeping carts, and carpet cleaning machines.
  • Participate in infection control initiatives and follow guidelines to prevent the spread of illness.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a similar role.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
