Role Overview: The Project Liaison Officer will serve as a key point of contact between the health departments and the Regional Supervisor, ensuring effective communication regarding the needs, challenges, and successes within the designated District.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in regular discussions with the Regional Supervisor to relay pertinent information about the health departments.
- Participate in scheduled conference calls and staff meetings organized by the program Director and Regional Supervisors.
- Attend District Coalition meetings alongside the Health Care Coalition Coordinator and other relevant health department gatherings as directed.
- Identify and communicate any requirements for planning, training, and exercise support to the Regional Supervisor.
- Provide assistance and respond to inquiries related to preparedness initiatives, directing individuals to appropriate resources when necessary.
- Support the tracking of grant deliverables and progress during preparedness activities, data collection, and inventory management as instructed.
- Complete necessary reporting and documentation as requested by the Regional Supervisor or Director.
- Assist in the coordination of Medical Countermeasure Operational Readiness Reviews in designated jurisdictions as required.
- Prepare and submit summary reports of coalition or district meetings, utilizing the bi-weekly reporting template unless otherwise specified.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
