Nurse Specialist for Geriatric Care

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team at Genesis HealthCare. As a key member of our geriatric care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.
Job Overview:This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $40.00-$48.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, developing personalized care plans, and implementing evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify individualized care needs
- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address physical, emotional, and social needs
- Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff to ensure seamless delivery of care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and optimize patient outcomes
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current licensure
- CPR certification required; one to three years of experience in geriatric care preferred
