Lead Preschool Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a School Age Group Leader at Kiddie Academy of Bryan. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in creating a fun and engaging learning environment for children while ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Supervise students during all activities and ensure their safety and well-being.
• Attend all scheduled field trips and swim days, and drive the 14-passenger bus or van to field trips.
• Counsel students when social, academic, or adjustment problems arise, and guide them in planning their classroom activities.
• Ensure the appearance, cleanliness, and safe environment of the classroom are maintained, and help with meal times and clean-up.
• Assist with all academy and classroom paperwork, such as daily notes, student accident reports, and attendance reports.
• Attend and participate in staff meetings, academy events, and parent meetings as requested.
• Ensure all classroom and outdoor equipment are in good working condition and are used and maintained properly.
• Help plan and implement classroom curriculum based on the week's theme, and maintain family information boards and other classroom bulletin boards.
• Communicate appropriate information to parents and maintain developmental profiles for children.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must meet all requirements stipulated by the state for this position.
• Pleasant and friendly demeanor, and an outgoing personality.
• Highly professional and dependable.
• Good driving record.
• Ability to interact appropriately with students of all ages and skill levels, as well as with parents, coworkers, and management.
• Ability to lift no less than 40 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the workday to at least waist high.
