Overview:

As a Banquet Bartender, your primary responsibility is to deliver exceptional beverage service to all patrons, ensuring a professional and courteous experience that aligns with the standards of excellence upheld by the Union League. You will be expected to stay informed about the latest trends in the beverage industry and maintain a high level of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Thoroughly review and comprehend all details of Private Event Orders (PEOs) and Beverage Daily Assignments.
  • Prepare and dismantle all bar supplies for events in accordance with Beverage Daily Assignments.
  • Exhibit a positive and professional demeanor towards guests, members, and colleagues.
  • Comply with the League's uniform and grooming standards.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all paperwork at the conclusion of each shift.
  • Verify that all chits are completed accurately by the end of each shift.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and adequate stock levels in all work areas.
  • Promptly communicate any issues, guest feedback, or requests to the supervisor.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols while performing assigned duties.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Previous professional bartending experience is required.
  • Familiarity with common drink recipes is essential.
  • Solid understanding of mixology, beverage service, and basic sanitation practices.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong mathematical abilities.
  • Physical capability to bend and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is necessary.
  • RAMPS Certification is required.
Mandatory Work Days:
  • New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Mother's Day, Fall Ball, Thanksgiving Day, Family Christmas.
