Job Title: Citrix VDI Architect

At Rose International, we are seeking a highly skilled Citrix VDI Architect to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing Citrix VDI environments, providing level 2 and level 3 technical support, and ensuring the smooth operation of our virtual desktop infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement Citrix VDI environments to meet business requirements
  • Provide level 2 and level 3 technical support for Citrix/XenApps server environment
  • Monitor VDI platform with various client tools, including Netscaler and ControlUP
  • Ensure virtual sessions are working as intended and handle IT-VDI related requests or inquiries received by client helpdesk
  • Ensure all Citrix platform server systems under management have updated software patches
  • Participate in client meetings to update team members and address technical questions around VDI and Citrix
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, plus five years or more professional experience supporting a large-scale enterprise Windows environment and experience in Citrix VDI
  • Advanced system testing tool knowledge and experience
  • Strong technical experience with Citrix XenDesktop, Citrix XenServer, VMware (vSphere), and Microsoft Windows Servers
  • Ability to work well within a team environment, experience with workflow analysis, and technical collaboration for client problem-solving
  • Ability to apply best practices to ensure maximum production and provide one-on-one training to teammates
Preferred Skills:
  • Effective communication skills (written and oral)
  • Proven experience with Citrix/XenApps, VMware Administration, Microsoft Windows Servers, and Citrix App Layering
  • Team member training and Citrix Administration Certification
  • Adaptable, flexible, and self-motivated with strong technical and problem-solving skills
