Job Summary

AEG is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the building and surrounding areas.
  • Perform routine cleaning and janitorial tasks, including emptying trash and wastebaskets, and transporting waste to designated disposal areas.
  • Operate custodial equipment and other related machinery as required.
  • Set up and tear down tables and chairs for events, and assist with event cleanup.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and maintain other public areas.
  • Assist with snow and ice removal, and landscape maintenance as needed.
Requirements
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions, and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, exercising good judgment and initiative.
  • Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with clients, employees, and patrons.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including daytime, evening, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, walk for extended periods, and walk up and down stairs.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Physical demands of prolonged repetitive motions associated with mopping, sweeping, buffing, dusting, and climbing.
  • Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a similar setting or environment.
