Elevance Health is seeking a highly skilled Specialty Pharmacist to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform duties as a licensed pharmacist, ensuring adherence to laws and regulations, and maintaining compliance with State Board of Pharmacy regulations and local, state, and federal requirements.
- Lead the activities of pharmacy technicians and delivery/equipment technicians, ensuring quality, security, and proper disposal of pharmaceuticals.
- Dispense and compound medications, planning, implementing, and maintaining procedures for mixing, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals according to policy and legal requirements.
- Assist patient delivery representatives in orders, receiving, maintaining, and tracking infusion-related equipment.
- May be required to travel to different worksites and other locations as necessary.
Requirements:
- Requires a BA/BS degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D and a minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Pharmacist in a clinic and/or alternate site/home health pharmacy service.
- Requires a current active unrestricted license to practice pharmacy as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh).
- Multi-state licensure is required if providing services in multiple states.
- Satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is a requirement for this position.

Hybrid Workforce Strategy:

Unless specified as primarily virtual by the hiring manager, associates are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week.
