At Magpies Softserve, we pride ourselves on being a chef-owned and operated soft serve ice cream parlor. Our soft serve ice cream and toppings are crafted in-house from scratch, ensuring that our offerings are of the highest quality. We utilize only the finest ingredients, including milk, cream, and sugar, and we also provide vegan options made with rice milk, almond milk, or coconut milk. Our mission is to surpass customer expectations in both product quality and service excellence. We believe that a remarkable product must be complemented by outstanding customer service delivered by dedicated employees. Our positive workplace culture is something we cherish, and we are eager to welcome new members to our diligent team.

***This position is part-time, with required availability on Saturdays and Sundays. Please refrain from applying if you cannot commit to weekend shifts.***

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate effective listening and communication skills.
  • Manage multiple tasks while maintaining organization.
  • Sample both dairy and non-dairy products (milk, oat milk, almond milk, coconut milk).
  • Maintain at least four days of open availability each week, including weekends (REQUIRED). Weekend commitment is essential.
  • Exhibit a positive demeanor in a high-volume, customer-facing role for 6-8 hours.
  • Arrive on time and exhibit a sense of urgency in all tasks.
