Purpose of JobThe purpose of this job is to assist in managing the airport's day-to-day operations in accordance with Federal, State and Local regulations and policies to ensure the safe and efficient movement of passengers.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to emergencies and coordinate their resolution while providing updates to executive staff.
- Communicate effectively and exchange information in a professional and positive manner with customers, tenants, airport employees and other staff members.
- Work extensively with Transportation Security Administration (TSA) on a daily basis to ensure the safe and efficient movement of passengers through the airport's security checkpoints.
- Provide operational expertise and interact with other departments and airport stakeholders to maintain positive relationships.
- Perform daily checks of the airport's terminals, concourses, parking lots, curbsides, airport access roadways and other airport facilities.
- Prepare and present various reports and documents, including daily logs and reports for incidents, complaints, maintenance requests and regulatory compliance issues.
- Assist with the management of several airport contracts.
This role requires working shift work, including weekends and holidays, and may be subject to hold over and recall for emergencies, including inclement weather.
