Job Summary

Lincoln County, OR is seeking a skilled Community-Based Mobile Crisis Worker to join our team. As a key member of our Behavioral Health team, you will provide crisis intervention and support to individuals in need, working closely with community partners and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to crisis calls and provide on-site support to individuals in crisis, using evidence-based best practices and de-escalation techniques.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop safety plans to ensure the well-being of individuals and communities.
  • Collaborate with mental health trained peers and associate level staff to deliver high-quality services and support.
  • Document all interactions and interventions in the electronic health record, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain competencies in mobile crisis response and stay up-to-date on best practices.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in human services, nursing, rehabilitation, or a related behavioral health field.
  • One year of experience providing clinical services directly to individuals, families, and groups.
  • QMHP certification through MHACBO required.
  • Valid Oregon driver's license and ability to transport individuals in a county-owned vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual and/or bicultural competencies for the Latino population.

Lincoln County offers a comprehensive benefit package, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as a 401K retirement plan with a 11% County contribution. Regular and Trial Service employees working between 20-39 hours per week on a regular basis are eligible for pro-rated employee benefits.
