Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at the California Medical Facility in Vacaville, California. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to inmates at the California Medical Facility, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and providing education to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure that patient care is delivered in a safe and effective manner.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure that patient needs are met and that care is delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in the State of California.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in a correctional or healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
