Job Summary

Epic Travel Staffing Allied is seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist in Washington, D.C.

Job Responsibilities
  • Operate x-ray equipment and perform various mammography-related diagnostic procedures with high accuracy and precision.
  • Maintain a high level of expertise in positioning and exposure technique to ensure efficient and effective results.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide outstanding patient care and contribute to the profitability of the organization.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in mammography technology and best practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in mammography or a related field.
  • Graduation from high school or equivalent and completion of a training program in imaging technology from an accredited school.
  • BLS certification and current ARRT certification in Radiography.
  • ARRT advanced level certification in mammography with documentation of clinical experience or MQSA qualified and (M) registry eligible.
  • Digital and 3D mammography experience required.
  • 2 years of experience in mammography preferred.
  • Knowledge of database software, RIS/PACS software, and eRad preferred.
  • Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies preferred.
