Mammography Technologist Job Opportunity

Epic Travel Staffing Allied is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Washington, D.C.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly qualified Mammography Technologist to operate x-ray equipment and perform diagnostic procedures in a fast-paced radiology environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mammography, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Responsibilities
  • Operate x-ray equipment to produce high-quality mammography images
  • Perform diagnostic procedures, including ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in mammography
  • ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography
  • MQSA qualified and (M) registry eligible
  • Knowledge of database software, RIS/PACS software, and eRad
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology
