About the Role:
This is a skilled mechanical and electrical position responsible for the maintenance and repair of light to medium duty processing and building equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, with experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including conveyors, elevators, blowers, sifters, burners, grinders, tablet compression and encapsulation equipment, vacuum & hydraulic pumps, forklifts, and air compressors.
* Apply mechanical and electrical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
* Work independently or with minimal supervision to complete tasks.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of manufacturing and packaging processes.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Requirements:
* 3+ years of experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance in the pharmaceutical industry.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including pumps, motors, and control systems.
* Experience with tablet coaters, compression machines, blenders (small and full room size), and granulation machines.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment:
* This is a fully on-site position in North Brunswick Township, New Jersey.
* The work environment is multiple departments, laboratory, manufacturing, and packaging.
