Seeking an experienced OB/GYN to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. Our hospital has been certified as a Baby-Friendly facility by the World Health Organization and features a 24-hour pain management service, five birthing suites, and a 17-bed inpatient unit.
The OBGYN service at Harlem Hospital offers a range of services including minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, urogynecology, and robotic surgical services. We have a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and average 800 live births annually. The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Job Description:- General OBGYN inpatient and outpatient evaluation and management.
- Ambulatory clinic coverage.
- Inpatient Gyn/ED consultation.
- Labor & Delivery coverage.
- Supervise the care given to patients by Advanced Practice Providers.
This is a full-time position that requires adequate surgical skills to cover inpatient services. You will be expected to provide night, weekend, and holiday coverage as assigned. Applicants should have mature communication and interpersonal skills, as well as knowledge of best practices in OBGYN.
As part of our team, you will participate in Departmental performance improvement activities and contribute to improving patient care. Night and weekend call is required, but you will be compensated above salary.
Qualifications:- Board Certified or Eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Estimated Annual Salary: $412,600 (board eligible) - $423,600 (board certified), based on 40-hour work week, plus additional compensation for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
The annual total value of the compensation package includes baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other benefits such as:
