Job Title: Material Handler

We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our Fabrication Team on the 2nd shift. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for operating a sit-down forklift to transport steel sheets to the machines for production. Your duties will include moving raw sheets from storage to the CNC machines, transporting machined sheets to the blaster, and finally, moving sandblasted sheets to the staging area for the glass line.

Responsibilities:
  • Transport steel sheets to the machines for production using a sit-down forklift
  • Move raw sheets from storage to the CNC machines
  • Transport machined sheets to the blaster
  • Move sandblasted sheets to the staging area for the glass line
  • Perform secondary tasks such as labeling, banding, and palletizing
Requirements:
  • Sit-down forklift experience
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
Work Environment:

This is a fully on-site position in a large manufacturing plant environment. You will be exposed to noise, dust, and hazards associated with working in a high-traffic, heavy machinery plant. Typical work hours are Monday through Thursday, with overtime required on Fridays. Work hours may change at Management's discretion with prior notice.

Aerotek offers a competitive pay rate of $19.80 per hour, with a $1.50 differential once moved to the 2nd shift. We also offer weekly pay, employee benefits, and a 401(k) plan.
