We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Material Handler to join our team at Ryder in Dekalb, Illinois. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for performing various warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and forklift operation.
  • Responsible for accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading and unloading of trucks.
  • Perform day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment, including picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.
  • Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
  • Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Benefits:
  • Hourly pay: $20.30 per hour.
  • Overtime pay: $30.45 per hour.
  • Additional pay: $2.50 per hour when assigned to E shift.
  • Weekly pay.
  • On-the-job paid training.
