The Warehouse Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all functions and processes within the warehouse, including the management of incoming and outgoing shipments. The compensation range for this position is between $18 and $22 per hour, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all shipments are accurately weighed within 48 hours of their arrival at the warehouse.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all shipments received from third-party vendors.
  • Ensure that all equipment, including forklifts, scales, security systems, and fire alarms, are in proper working order.
  • Guarantee that sufficient materials are available for employees to perform their tasks effectively.
  • Conduct monthly inventories of all materials and storage units.
  • Organize and manage the storage of shipments within the warehouse.
  • Ensure that external containers are stored in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Adhere to RSMO and MTO guidelines to maintain compliance.
  • Manage and track weight tickets for both office and public use.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of shipments as required.

Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with company software and systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Conflict resolution skills.
  • Understanding of DOT regulations.
  • Knowledge of applicable government regulations regarding transportation.
  • Proficient in operating forklifts.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience is required.

Work Environment:

  • Work will be conducted both indoors and outdoors.
  • Warehouse setting with frequent bending and lifting.
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Regular use of warehouse equipment is expected.
