Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the planning phases of assurance engagements, ensuring timely progress
  • Prepare and manage budgets
  • Maintain profitable realization rates
  • Review and assess work papers for compliance with professional standards and firm policies
  • Evaluate reports and financial statements
  • Discuss significant findings with the engagement partner regarding auditing standards and firm policies
  • Manage risk and enforce quality control measures
  • Engage in practice development and oversee multiple engagements
  • Handle billing and collections when appropriate
  • Foster positive relationships with client management
  • Provide on-the-job training for junior staff
Additional Duties:
  • Generate new business from both new and existing clients annually
  • Represent the firm by presenting expertise at external events
  • Effectively manage expectations of employees and clients
  • Conduct performance evaluations constructively and timely, offering ongoing feedback
  • Maintain required annual continuing professional education (CPE) credits
  • Participate in firm-sponsored initiatives
  • Contribute to staff development through active involvement in learning and development activities
Qualifications:
  • BBA/BS/MS in Accounting
  • Must possess a valid CPA license
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience
  • Strong communication skills for professional and technical knowledge
  • Effective business advisory capabilities
  • Ability to identify and implement solutions decisively
  • Comprehensive understanding of complex technical issues
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines with precision
  • Advanced knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and tax regulations
