Job Title: Senior Financial Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Financial Director to lead our financial strategy and planning efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving financial performance, ensuring compliance, and implementing financial strategies that align with our company's objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with our overall business objectives.
  • Drive financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, treasury, and tax.
  • Monitor cash flow, financial health, and liquidity to support business operations and investments.
  • Implement robust financial controls and risk management frameworks.
  • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and insights to key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, financial regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Collaborate with senior management to drive strategic initiatives and business decisions.
  • Evaluate and advise on potential mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic opportunities.
  • Lead financial due diligence and integration processes for corporate transactions.
  • Build and lead a high-performing finance team to support our organization's growth and objectives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and improvement within the finance department.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a CFO or senior financial leadership role within a complex organization.
  • Extensive experience in manufacturing cost accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business results.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with experience presenting to key stakeholders.
  • Education: Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field and CMA or CPA preferred.
  • Experience in relevant industries (e.g., construction, building materials, continuous flow manufacturing or other industrial manufacturing).
  • Personal attributes: Strategic thinker with a proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong leadership presence and ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
  • High integrity and ethical standards in financial management and decision-making.
  • Resilient under pressure and able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
