Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Clinical Psychologist to join our team at the University of Miami. As an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics, you will be responsible for providing clinical psychological services to children with various psychological and behavioral problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provision of clinical psychological services to children through the Division of Clinical Psychology's Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) Program.
  • Associate Director of PCIT-CALM for children with anxiety, supervising staff and providing clinical services.
  • Associate Director of Team COACH and Project SEW, developing courses and trainings, facilitating peer learning, and project management.
  • Training and supervision of postdoctoral associates, staff, interns, and practicum students in PCIT, COACH, and SEW.
  • Collaboration with the Pediatric Pulmonology Division's Sleep Program, designing and conducting behavioral protocols and research studies.
  • Participation in clinical research activities, including collaboration on projects, design of projects and data collection, grant applications, and original research projects.
  • Supervision of clinical psychology trainees, providing lectures on psychological services for various clinical problems, and participating in psychology faculty meetings.
Qualifications
  • APA-approved PhD in clinical psychology and clinical internship.
  • Licensure (or license-eligible) in Florida.
  • Relevant clinical experience with children.
