Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team at Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital. As an inpatient Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in the rehabilitation of patients with a wide range of medical conditions, including orthopedic and neuro-related injuries. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping patients regain their strength, mobility, and independence.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients
- Provide safe and effective physical therapy interventions to promote patient recovery and independence
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare providers and families
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and efficiency of care
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of TN, or a compact license or eligible to obtain
- Basic Life Support/CPR certification
- Ability to work weekdays and/or weekends to provide coverage
Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital is a 135-bed facility that offers a wide range of medical and surgical services, including advanced imaging services, a 14-bed critical care unit, and a Level 2 nursery. Our hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission and has received the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) 4-Star Quality Rating in 2023.
