Job Summary

PacMoore is seeking an experienced Extrusion Team Lead to join our production team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing guidance and training to other extrusion operators, troubleshooting complex equipment failures, and ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (S.O.P.s).

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate with other shifts about machine adjustments and problems during the shift.
  • Train and Develop: Train knowledge received from maintenance to other production workers and ensure that equipment will run consistently in your absence.
  • Lead by Example: Be knowledgeable in all aspects of operating and troubleshooting equipment and follow Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Maintain Production Flow: Ensure that next production orders are ready to avoid any downtime.
  • Identify and Develop Talent: Identify employees with aptitude to learn more and ensure training and development.
  • Problem-Solve: Troubleshoot and solve problems that arise on the shift and notify the Shift Supervisor and/or Production Manager on a timely basis.
  • Ensure Compliance: Follow and train other Production Workers to follow Standard Operating Procedures and make suggestions for changes/improvements to S.O.P.s.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of extrusion operations and be able to communicate effectively with team members. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve production goals.
