We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC instructor to join our team at Charter College in Anchorage, Alaska. As an instructor, you will be responsible for teaching our evening 5-week classes and guiding students towards successful careers in the field.

Job Description

This is a part-time position that requires commitment and drive to help students achieve their goals. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the HVAC industry and be certified or qualified in their field.

  • Teaching Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality instructional content according to the required curriculum
  • Monitor student attendance and retention, maintaining accurate records as needed
  • Grading assignments and returning them to students in a timely manner
  • Provide educational assistance to students during scheduled office hours or by appointment

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the HVAC industry
  • HVAC certification or qualification preferred

Work Schedule:

  • Part-time evenings (5:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.) on two days per week
  • Paid by each 5-week course taught ($1,250.00 to $1,450.00)
