Key Responsibilities:
  • Pharmacy Operations: Execute all pharmacist duties, maintaining proficiency in central and satellite pharmacy operations. Ensure the effective use of medication management technologies and oversee inventory management.
  • Pharmacy Practice: Conduct thorough medication order reviews and patient monitoring to identify and resolve medication-related issues. Provide timely and safe medication therapy, actively participating in medication stewardship initiatives.
  • Clinical Pharmacy Services: Engage in direct patient care, delivering accurate and appropriate medication therapy tailored to individual patient needs. Collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Team Collaboration: Ensure seamless communication and continuity of care among pharmacy staff and other healthcare team members. Participate in departmental meetings and support educational initiatives.
  • Teaching and Mentoring: Provide guidance and training to new staff and pharmacy trainees, fostering a culture of learning and professional development.
  • Quality Improvement: Contribute to quality enhancement initiatives aimed at improving pharmacy processes and patient care standards.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy, Doctor of Pharmacy, or equivalent advanced pharmacy degree.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in hospital pharmacy operations and technology.

Licensure:
Must hold a valid pharmacy license in accordance with state regulations.
