Position Overview
The Patient Support Specialist will efficiently manage a multi-line phone system, coordinating appointments and ensuring calls are directed appropriately without delay. This role involves welcoming clients, addressing inquiries, and providing necessary guidance. The Patient Support Specialist will also input new patient information into the database and undertake additional administrative responsibilities as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate departments.
  • Schedule appointments and assist patients with their needs.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in the system.
  • Perform various administrative tasks to support clinic operations.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Preferred experience in a medical office setting (2 years).
  • Strong customer service skills are essential.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous.
  • Experience with Epic software is a plus.
  • Attention to detail is crucial.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and discretion.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
