Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mammography Technologist to join our team at Emerald Health Services. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating x-ray equipment and performing various mammography-related procedures with accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate x-ray equipment and perform mammography-related procedures with precision and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of mammography procedures and protocols.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in mammography technology and techniques.
Requirements
  • Current ARRT certification in mammography or MQSA qualified.
  • Non-restricted licensure in the state of work location.
  • 2 years of mammography experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of database software, RIS/PACS software, and eRad preferred.
  • Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and biopsies preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ARRT advanced level certification in mammography.
  • High school graduation or equivalent and imaging technology training program completion.
  • Ability to comprehend medical terminology and stand for long periods.
