Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures, utilizing a variety of cameras and equipment.
  • Prepare radioactive material doses and maintain radiation records, adhering to established radiation safety techniques and equipment.
  • Take emergency after-hours calls on a rotating basis, providing timely and effective support to patients and staff.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient patient care.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an AMA-accredited nuclear school of medicine or an accredited school of radiologic technology.
  • 1 year of previous experience in a hospital environment, preferably in nuclear medicine or a related field.
