We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Personal Shopper to join our team at Greers Market. As a Personal Shopper, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive online shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Picking Process: Select high-quality products for customers, particularly fresh meats, produce, and deli bakery items. Use your best judgment when making substitutions and communicate with customers when necessary.
- Phone Etiquette: Answer phone calls promptly and maintain a friendly, polite, and professional tone when interacting with customers.
- Delivering Orders Curbside: Pull customer orders quickly and efficiently, ensuring all bags are ready for delivery within 3-5 minutes of customer arrival.
- High School Diploma required
- Previous experience as a cashier, front-end manager, or management-level associate in a grocery retail environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to interpret, understand, and follow instructions
- Ability to operate a Personal Shopper shopping cart and iPad
- Ability to move, lift, carry, and place merchandise and supplies weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
- Continuous repetitive motion with hands and arms, such as grasping, gripping, and turning
- Standing and/or walking continuously throughout shift without a break for up to 4 hours
- Ability to visually locate merchandise and other objects, as well as verify information, often in small print
May be exposed to all weather conditions, as well as inside work with variations of heat, cold, dust, and humidity. May be exposed to chemicals or allergens.
