Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavior Technician to join our Student Support Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and providing support to students with behavioral needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement BIPs as outlined by the BCBA to reduce problem behaviors and promote skill acquisition
  • Collect and maintain accurate data on students' progress toward behavior goals
  • Support instruction by adapting lessons and classroom activities to meet students' behavioral needs
  • Participate in crisis management and safety interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive support for students
  • Communicate students' behavior progress to BCBA, teachers, and parents as required
Requirements
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Experience working with children, especially in a school setting or with students with disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
