Plant Snacks LLC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join its finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience with accounting for natural food and beverage brands and a strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for handling all day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger maintenance. The successful candidate will also assist with the monthly close-of-books, financial reporting, and budgeting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Maintain general ledger and reconcile expense reports and credit card statements
- Oversee monthly book inventory to warehouse reconciliation process and COGS calculation
- Manage the monthly close-of-books and create financial reporting packages for management and investors
- Partner with the CFO to manage payroll process and banking transactions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required
- Minimum 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience in a company with sales of $3 million or greater
- Experience with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Emotional intelligence and integrity with confidential material
