Network Security Engineer

As a seasoned IT professional, you'll play a critical role in safeguarding the integrity of our network infrastructure. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies, design and implement security solutions, and contribute to the success of high-impact projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and implement innovative security solutions that protect our organization's most critical information.
  • Design and maintain optimized firewall and IPS rule structures, ensuring our security standards remain top tier.
  • Monitor the health of all firewalls and IPS systems, proactively recommend improvements, and implement necessary upgrades.
  • Develop and maintain clear, concise documentation and complex network security schematics to ensure seamless operational continuity.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by researching, testing, and implementing the latest in network security technologies.
  • Provide support to our network engineers, offering your expert knowledge to help solve complex security challenges.

What You'll Bring:

  • Extensive IT Expertise: 7+ years of IT experience with a deep understanding of network security.
  • Hands-On Experience: Worked extensively with Cisco FMC1000 (physical and VMware), Cisco ISE, and Cisco IPS products, from configuration to deployment.
  • VPN Expertise: Strong experience managing IPsec VPN and Site-to-Site VPN connections to Azure cloud.
  • Active Top-Secret Clearance: Hold an active Top-Secret clearance, enabling you to work on sensitive, high-impact projects.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree is strongly preferred, but we value additional hands-on experience if you bring expertise without a formal degree.
