Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career, and customer-oriented Network Engineer to join our team in the DMV area. We have opportunities in the Washington, DC area as well as Northern Virginia and Maryland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs system-level design and configuration of network systems, including determination of hardware, operating system, and other platform specifications to meet project requirements while maintaining interoperability with existing customer networks.
  • Plans large-scale systems projects through vendor comparison and trade and cost studies.
  • Performs a variety of systems engineering tasks and activities that are broad in nature and are concerned with major systems design, integration, and implementation.
  • Troubleshoots unique or complex problems and takes direction from more senior personnel.
  • Collaborate and work with other Network Engineer IIs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in an IT, Business, Engineering, Math, Science, or related field.
  • Two or more (2+) years of related experience.
  • Hold one of the following certifications within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order: CCNA-Security, CySA+ GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant industry-standard certifications such as Comptia Network+, Cisco/Juniper, or AWS Advanced Networking.

Clearance Requirements:

This role requires an active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer.

The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
