About This Role

Crusoe Energy is revolutionizing the way we harness energy from stranded resources. As our Lead Wiring Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our mobile data centers. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety in our electrical manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate team performance to meet daily schedules and ensure zero quality and safety incidents
  • Oversee the team's safety and quality, ensuring adherence to job standards and safety procedures
  • Train and coach team members on project tasks, assessing their skills and training needs
  • Perform basic hand tool skills, PPE, drilling, and tapping of metal, using correct fixings, measuring, stripping, crimping, and cutting
  • Read controls and electrical manufacturing drawings to a competent level
  • Have a good understanding of industry manufacturing procedures, cable sizing, and cable color coding
  • Liaise between the project engineer and other project team members regarding manufacturing and drawing standards and procedures
  • Install and mount field devices, terminating cables to instrumentation, marshaling cabinets, and junction boxes
  • Assemble, wire, and loom to HPI's standard
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of prior experience in an electronic assembly environment or as an electrician's apprentice
  • Ability to read and understand a wide range of blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
  • Reasonable understanding of electronic/electrical theory and mechanical aptitude
  • Prior management experience is preferred but not required
  • Ability to check and modify drawings as needed
  • Requires lift, lower, push, and pull all sizes of merchandise up to 50 lbs
  • Requires the ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for 8 hours or more daily
  • Requires constant use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back
  • Must be detail-oriented and a team player willing to take on additional roles as needed
  • Have a good attitude and willingness to learn
  • This position is designated a safety-sensitive position and/or is located in a safety-sensitive facility
  • Must be able to pass a background check

Compensation Range

Compensation will be in the range of $30-$35/hr. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Pay to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
