Job Overview

Position: CNC Machining Specialist at Steel Craft Technologies

Reports to: Shift Supervisor

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Summary: Steel Craft Technologies is in search of dedicated CNC Machining Specialists to enhance their operations in Belmont, MI. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation of CNC burning machinery to precisely manufacture components according to programmed guidelines while consistently upholding high standards of quality and efficiency.

Steel Craft Technologies welcomes individuals who are new to the industry and are eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently program CNC burning equipment.
  • Ensure proper loading of plates onto the burner.
  • Manufacture components in accordance with work orders.
  • Carefully deburr and clean manufactured parts.
  • Accurately measure and label edges of components.
  • Organize parts on skids for subsequent processing.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Proficiency in reading a tape measure is essential.
  • Willingness to undergo training if necessary.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions from the Shop Foreman and Shift Leaders.

Work Environment: Manufacturing facility

Physical Requirements:

  • Full use of all limbs is necessary.
  • Proficiency in English (reading and speaking).
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 60 pounds.

Position Type and Work Hours: This is a full-time position with various shifts available. Shift premiums may be applicable based on the schedule. The role includes a paid 30-minute lunch break.

Travel Requirements: None.
