Position Overview: We are currently seeking applications from dedicated and qualified individuals for the role of Adjunct Instructor in the Medical Assisting Program. This position involves teaching courses related to the Medical Assistant curriculum. While immediate openings may not be available, we value your interest in future opportunities as they arise.

Responsibilities: In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and supporting students in their educational journey. Openings for this position may vary each semester based on program needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Health Science discipline, completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program, and a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare environment OR an Associate degree in a Health Science field, completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program, and four (4) years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting, or a Registered Nurse with a BSN.
  • Current certification in the Medical Assistant field.
  • Proficiency in the skills and applications necessary for the effective management of medical offices.
  • Willingness to travel to various campuses as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in teaching at the community college level and familiarity with Learning Management Systems.
