Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Coordinator V

At Sparton, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Maintenance Coordinator V to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for coordinating and assisting with facilities activities, routine and preventative maintenance or repair projects, and promoting efficient, economical, continuous, and safe operation of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform facility-related electrical projects following NFPA 70E guidelines.
  • Assist personnel with objectives consistent with those of the organization to ensure efficient and safe operation.
  • Ensure attendance at all mandatory training.
  • Makes daily visual inspections for electrical safety issues, bringing attention to the Facilities Manager deficiencies that need to be corrected.
  • Complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Complete safety and PPE trainings required to perform the job.
  • Perform electrical and lighting repairs as needed.
  • Coordinates and supervises all production-related projects with the Facility Manager.
  • May work with outside contractors for facility-related projects.
  • Assists in implementing an effective preventative maintenance program for electrical equipment.
Requirements:
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Associates Degree, or 5-10 years of similar experience, preferred.
  • Prior experience in commercial construction/facilities-related work.
  • Journeyman's Certification.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

None.
