Job Summary

As a Bridge/Structural Engineer with Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc., you will lead design and plan development tasks, perform structural analysis and design, and conduct bridge inspections and load ratings. We seek an enthusiastic and motivated individual to provide management and technical leadership to a talented team of professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Lead bridge/structural tasks, including plan and report production;
  • Assist in developing project proposals, scope, and schedules;
  • Help develop, monitor, and maintain engineering budgets;
  • Serve as a quality assurance team review member and mentor for bridge/structural engineers;
  • Coordinate with sub-consultants and in-house technical staff to meet project deadlines.


Qualifications
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis (M.S. a plus);
  • P.E. registration or ability to obtain;
  • 7+ years of relevant bridge design experience;
  • Strong technical skills in bridge/structural design and analysis;
  • Experience in leading Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build projects;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Working experience with marketing, business development, project pursuits, and proposal preparation a plus;
  • Working knowledge of Microstation and/or Civil 3D.
