Role Summary: We are in search of a meticulous and mechanically skilled Spring End Grinder to become a vital part of our workforce. The selected candidate will operate grinding machinery to ensure that our springs are accurately flattened and aligned. This position is essential for upholding the superior quality standards that our clientele expects from Ace Wire Spring & Form Co.

Machinery Utilized:

  • Nimsco
  • Schenker
  • Besly

Primary Duties:

  • Efficiently load springs into the grinding equipment.
  • Modify the grinding machine settings to the appropriate height as per specific product specifications.
  • Operate the grinding apparatus to refine springs using a grindstone, ensuring they are leveled and free from defects.
  • Oversee the grinding operation to maintain uniform quality and detect any potential problems.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of the grinding equipment to guarantee peak performance.
  • Perform quality assessments on finished springs to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to foster a secure working environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to enhance production efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience with grinding machines or comparable equipment is advantageous.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Capability to read and understand technical documents and blueprints.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual skills.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to resolve minor machinery issues.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Capacity to work autonomously as well as in a team setting.
