This role is situated at the Milliken – Magnolia Plant and reports directly to the Process Improvement Manager. The primary focus of this position is to spearhead continuous improvement initiatives at the facility. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, though flexibility is required due to the plant's operational demands, which may necessitate early arrivals, late departures, and participation in weekend management rotations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the factors influencing processes and products.
- Utilize effective project management techniques to oversee various improvement initiatives.
- Employ analytical skills to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
- Apply creative problem-solving methods to discover innovative ways to enhance efficiency, consistency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare visual aids such as diagrams, charts, and tables to illustrate findings and support recommendations.
- Engage in clear communication with a diverse range of team members.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve project and site objectives.
- Actively participate in the Safety Process.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment, managing pressure and meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Qualifications Preferred:
- Degree in Textile, Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, whether through internships, co-ops, or full-time roles.
The ideal candidate will exhibit strengths in the following areas:

- Capability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
