Job SummaryThe NICU (Level IV) Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill newborns and their families. This includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care to achieve optimal outcomes. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal outcomes
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive plan of care for each patient, including identifying and prioritizing patient needs and goals
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current Washington State Registered Nurse License
- National Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- American Heart Association (AHA) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- 1 year of experience in a Level IV NICU or equivalent
